medication
It's approximately 5 years since I started taking medication. Because AIDS symptons had already manifested themselves sometime before I received my AIDS diagnosis, I had no time to hestitate before beginning the medication.
Now, five years later, I am still taking the same cocktail with exceptionally good results. I am aware that this combination (2 times a days taken with food and without many side-effects), is a reasonable and comfortable regimen. My dose schedule is 10 AM and 10 PM every day. This regimen fits in well with my daily schedule.
And I strictly keep to this schedule; for example, I am never more than an hour out of synch. In all these years, I have have only forgotten to take my doses about three times. Sometimes it is not so apparent that you need to adjust and you end up biting your nails in apprehension. Taking meds really requires an enormous amount of adjustment and an iron will. But when there's a will, there's a way.
