medication

Taking medications hasn't always been very easy. In all the years that I've been HIV positive, finding the right therapy has been a bit of a quest.

Sometimes my body told me that the medication was too heavy. Other times, the regimen turned out to be too hard on me psychologically. Fortunately, I now have a therapy that works well, is easy to handle and makes me feel okay mentally.

For the first time since my diagnosis, my CD4-cell count is starting to climb back up. This makes me feel good. Luckily there are also people close to me who support me in this and who don't give me a sense of being a failure if a particular therapy doesn't work. And they, too, are happy with my good results.
